Very disappointing purchase for this long-time Saveur subscriber. No interactive features at all - picture zooming in and out of the hardcopy mag, but on your ipad. Where are the pop-up captions on photos and extras? Lots missing here, Saveur. So sad, considering how gorgeous the print edition is. Vanity Fair has nailed it; hope you do too.
Not as sleek as other food magazines out there. Looks like theyve basically scanned the magazine sheets and added a few minute interactive elements. Font are way too small and resolution makes it difficult to read easily. Verdict: stick to the print magazine until v 2.0
Not the best interface. Especially given that it is a paid subscription. Also curious why this isnt available as a free add on to a paid paper subscription as is the case with so many other magazines?
Im not sure who is minding the digital store for this magazine, but it rarely loads and often freezes. A very frustrating experience. Too bad because I love the print magazine.
Issues download but never open; app freezes; customer service is "unavailable"! So frustrating. I think Ill go back to paper.

Of all the apps I own, this one crashes the most often. Downloading an issue involves about an hour of constant crashing and starting again. Plus, since I subscribed, theyve been sending me an incrdible amount of spam.
We love the magazine but getting the magazine downloaded before the app crashes a half a dozen times seems to be an ongoing issue. We have other subscriptions to various magazines but only seem to have issues with this one. Does anyone else have this problem?
I have enjoyed my subscription in the past. However since latest upgrade this application will no longer open. I click on the magazine in newsstand but only get dark screen and then it quits.
this is the worst app I have ever used. Loading a magazine will crash my iPad, downloaded magazines disappear, and articles abruptly freeze. Customer service is terrible
Paid for a years subscription and cant read the latest 2 issues be uasethe app either doesnt load or crashes immediately. Not happy...
Do not buy this app. As it consistently crashes at the opening page you cant access your issues. The Bonnier Corp should be ashamed, but youd never no it because customer support is NONEXISTENT. Dont waste your money.
Im tempted to go back to paper ! When it works its beautiful but i cant look at the past 3 magazines beacause the app does not work at all.
I have a subscription and cant read my issues because app crashes after about 30 seconds. It even crashes before I can fill in the customer feedback form!
The new update only works for this years issues. The old issues get put into a separate app that does not contain issues from 2009-10. Years paid for through the App Store. Dont subscribe to this crappy app. There has been nothing but problems with it for years.
Unable to view any issues since I upgraded to iOS8. The app does not appear compatible with this new OS upgrade. Hopefully this is something that can be fixed soon as the app is currently useless to me.
